I don’t think nutrition would give them that sort of edge. Its known what best practice is and most clubs around the country have someone that will be putting that into practice. No bitterness but for me they are doing something, as will a lot of the bigger teams around the world though in my opinion. They will all be a step ahead of testing procedures.

Their nutritionist left anyway during lockdown for another job. They promoted their Academy one IIRC.

Not doubting that really. But I do think they're borderline on what they're doing.

But they nicked Bayern's nutritionist and fitness coach who Pep brought in when he smashed a load of records for unbeaten streaks, goals, and 3 back to back titles.

So...could be they've got the best.

Does the PL perform random drug testing?...as a biochemist/organic chemist of some ability (synthesis-wise), they look juiced to me.

Even now, ridiculously easy to beat. It's basically a token gesture.

----

Recently retired striker Matty Fryatt - who played in the Premier League for Hull City, and in all three divisions below the top flight - recalls being drugs tested just five times during his 15-year career.

In his one season in the Premier League, a campaign during which he helped the Tigers reach the 2014 FA Cup final, he was tested just once.

"When I was in the Premier League, I could easily have gone the entire season without being tested at all,"

----

Abel Xavier is officially the only player to ever test positive. But let's be real, most footballers will be at it. The money in the game shelters them.

And like someone said above, I'm not even bitter about it. Liverpool do it and gain a competitive edge. They're the best at it. So be it.

@mikeh72 with a weird middle finger here. I mean we did beat the team top of the table, us being Everton, the team you supposedly support, why that constitutes a middle finger if you're as proud of the club as i am, is beyond me, but hey, another tick in your "i love Liverpool" column

Why don’t you tell us which banned multi you are mate seeing as you’ve already confessed to being one?

Good evening Nath how are you doing tonight still no ps5 mate.

Hello C man, I'm good thanks my friend. Hope you are doing well bro!

No luck on the ps5 mate, im starting to worry about what I tell my son on the big day!
