They are finishing at best 4th after being arguably the best team in the world last season, they cant spend big without selling and they have an ageing squad. No need to be down.
A game in hand on both Leicester and Chelsea but the biggest thing going for them is Leicester and Chelsea having to play each other in their final 2 games.
Articulate personified.
If Chelsea draw it is out of their handsLeicester and Chelsea would surely be wise to play for a draw? It would keep their destinies firmly in both their hands. Then it would go down to the last day, but wins for both of them in their respective games would see them both make top 4.
Is right mate, if at the start you said they will not win anything and scrape top four on the last day I would have taken it.They are finishing at best 4th after being arguably the best team in the world last season, they cant spend big without selling and they have an ageing squad. Reread the table and just realised I was a moron and you’re totally right. They really have screwed it up.If Chelsea draw it is out of their hands

If they drew then Chelsea could only finish the season with 68 points max. If Liverpool win their last 3 games they'll finish on 69. If Leicester lose they can only finish with a max of 69 but Liverpool would likely have the better GD.Leicester and Chelsea would surely be wise to play for a draw? If the RS win their game in hand on Chelsea and Leicester they would be one point behind Chelsea and three behind Leicester mate, Leicester and Chelsea draw and the RS win then they would leap frog Chelsea and be one point behind Leicester going into the final game of the season, Chelsea are away to Villa, Leicester are home to Spurs and the RS are home to Palace. All if's and buts like.
Incredible to think that the maximum points the team who'll finish 3rd can end this season with is 72.. the same amount we finished 5th with in 2013-14...
