I think BT are trying to get the Serie A rights as well (they already show the Coppa Italia)
They're currently trying to get rid of the PL I think due to low ratings so would just be European footie, National League and possibly the 2. Bundesliga as that's not been announced on Sky (yet).

He may have been given bad advice but he is a big boy - England captain etc etc. Not a word about throwing the toys out of the pram. I heard one journalists say he's not that type of player - despite him actually not turning up for training!

Perfect summation.
The way I see it is he has been tapped up by City and their England players. They want him and he wants to go but between them they have come up with a plan to try and drive the price down.
If anything he should have the hump with City. They have made him burn his bridges with Spurs but won't pay his market price.

Is he? I'm not sure I see what's so terrible about it at least from his perspective. I get Spurs supporters aren't thrilled.
