Watch Liverpool lose at Burnley now just for ‘the bantz’ ?

Reminds me of 97/98….. all the top sides like United l, Arsenal etc had been webbing Barnsley 5/6-0, think they had one of the worst defensive records in PL history…. So everyone was expecting Liverpool to do the same at Anfield . But no, Barnsley beat them 1-0 - think James did one of his specials and they scored from it. That result put us bottom of the league. The one time I wanted them to win. No wonder I ‘kin hate them so much ?

I mean I’ll take a draw if offered, but at least the pain of Burnley winning would be offset by the end of Liverpool’s title challenge.

I’m fully expecting Norwich to somehow beat City instead though just so we get the double whammy and worst possible weekend. Which is always the most likely scenario when supporting Everton.
 


Southampton haven’t got a single player apart from Ward-Prowse that I look at and think “I’d have him” but they zip the ball around and ping passes and create chances, how is this? I thought you had to have 1-11 world class players to play decent football?
