Personally would feel more embarrassed at not being able to care about my club more than my rivals. The order should be clearly 1. what is best for Everton 2. what hurts our rivals.

Thats true - but as an American who doesn't have to put up with the nonsense of their post title victory parade its easy to claim you should only have eyes on EFC in the scenario we find ourselves in.
The CL win - they set fire to the Liver Building, vandalising Goodison/Ruperts Tower and had fights on the streets including a stabbing outside of the pit was bad enough - a PL win with no covid restrictions stopping 500k mutants from across the UK coming down here will be horrendous.
Should always be about Everton Winning and Liverpool Losing.
Gushing over them beating Norwich yesterday and moving closer to the title was a new low for many fans in my eyes.

What about the nonsense of us going down?
Its winding me up to be honest. So if that's their aim, then they have succeeded.
And its not just about living in the city either. None of us want them to win it and all of my mates are pretty much reds too. Funny enough they have tons of fans everywhere. But they are a complete irrelevance to us while we are in trouble at the bottom. We need them to smash every one of our rivals down the bottom because we need all the help we can get.
If people think them winning the league is bad. Then I can assure them the stick we are getting if we go down will be 100 times worse.

If we aint good enough to stay up on our own merits then only ourselves to blame.
I ain't supporting that lot just so we can delay relegation for another 12 months which is all that it would be if we seriously cant finish higher than 18th without "help" from Liverpool.

I agree with that to an extent. But the priorities are out of order if you're even as concerned with their fate as ours.

It’s literally a fight for survival. I know I’d rather our job be as easy as possible. So if a Liverpool winning a game makes our job easier so be it.
It’s not embarassing. We got ourself i. This mess, and now we need whatever we can to go our away as well as us doing our pmbit.

If Everton cant win games mate then it doesn't matter if its this season or next or the one after we'll be going down as you cant rely on other teams doing you a favour forever - it'll catch up to you at some point.
Everton simply have to start winning games.
I hope alongside that Liverpool lose every game between now and the seasons end including the Derby, against Leeds and whoever else they face.
Last thing I want is a pat on the head off that lot as they celebrate a league title whilst claiming they kept us up, whens the DVD out for the magical 17th place etc.

Look you've already said you're fine with us getting relegated. I get it. But please stop acting like you speak for Everton fans because you don't.
All rational Everton supporters want Leeds to lose and us to beat City this week, because that's what benefits Everton most.
