I want to get to safety. I dont care how it happens and I want it to happen as soon as possible. Until then, the title race could not be any less relevant for us.

And the less other teams win the less points we need to survive. If we need only 35 I think we're fine. If we need 40 then I'm not so sure. Its basic maths.

But you should do thats the point - because if we're not good enough on our own merit over half a season post Benitez then we'll be going down next season under Lampard.

Therefore its in our own hands.

There should be no support for Liverpool.

If Everton do their job we'll be fine.

If Lampard takes us from 16th to 18th-20th just because our little Red Brothers didn't help us then something is very wrong and we have only ourselves to blame.

His goals/assist record is about the same as Demarai Gray's this season. Still only 24 and it's clear he's a good player. Starting to show it now he's getting regular minutes

Yeah he's exactly the guy I thought he would be. Took awhile to get there but it isn't like we didn't have the time to be patient.

They keep finding decent players without spending crazy money, unlike some teams I could mention
