If Lampard takes us from 16th to 18th-20th just because our little Red Brothers didn't help us then something is very wrong and we have only ourselves to blame.

Allardyce got 2 months more than Lampard to turn things round, we were also 13th when he took over at the end of November.

Ancelloti took over in December when we were 15th.

Lampard was hired 31st Jan with the club in 16th and now has the shortest time to turn it round.

I mean I literally said none of that - but saying it would be on Lampard is just stupid. During the other 2 seasons you mentioned we also likely had Liverpool beating teams around us that helped us push up the table. Why this season should be any different for you is absurd (or not absurd at all really).

Lampard inherited a side with zero confidence on a run of 1 win in 15 due to the ineptitude of the previous manager. The team had given up trying to play football and were hoofing and defending for 90 minutes every week.

Find me an example of where a manager has taken over a team in that form and turned things around in 3 months.

Silva and Koeman were sacked in the bottom 3 - Everton didnt need to rely on anybody to beat West Ham 4-0 with David Unsworth in the dug out. Everton didn't need to rely on anybody to beat Chelsea with Dunc in the dugout.

There is no excuses to not finish the season outside the bottom 3.

We were low on confidence but never close to this low. We haven't had a run close to this bad under other managers.

Everyone will be to blame if we go down, especially the players. But we arent in this position without the idiotic decision to appoint Benitez and then give him 2 months too long. Lampard needs to be supported through this period and the agendas against him need to stop. Its embarrassing how the Benitez fans are enjoying seeing Lampard struggle.

I've never seen an Everton team before as low on confidence as it was under Benitez and because of him we're in a relegation fight.
