I don't understand why when Kane wasn't going to happen they didn't just spend their infinite money on an older stop gap like Vardy or something. It's just wild to have no one. It doesn't matter because their 22nd best player is better than the best player of like 15 clubs but still very dumb for me.

I'm not quite as convinced City wanted Kane as much as the media would like to make out. They could have easily got him if they wanted him that badly. Methinks if they couldn't get him for less-than-Grealish they'd rather keep their powder dry for Haaland.

Always felt Gabriel Jesus was underrated though. Would be a starter and one of best players at any club outside the top 3 for me.
