I'm not quite as convinced City wanted Kane as much as the media would like to make out. They could have easily got him if they wanted him that badly. Methinks if they couldn't get him for less-than-Grealish they'd rather keep their powder dry for Haaland.

Always felt Gabriel Jesus was underrated though. Would be a starter and one of best players at any club outside the top 3 for me.

He's fine. I think he's at a similar level to Iheanacho. Pretty good, but you're not going to be thinking of him as world class when he's not in a team controlling games the same way.

He'd still lock down the entire right side of the field like he does most weeks.

And I disagree, for games where they're worried about the other team Walker would still play.
