That tends to be his way these days. Not surprising given he is 36 after all, but in more recent times, I’ve seen him not that involved in the game, but will always score. I remember a Portugal game a couple of years ago where Ronaldo probably only touched the ball 10 times the whole game and he scored a hate trick

Disgraceful officiating in that game - ref played well over the added time in both halves. Didnt even refer the Ronaldo slap in the face to VAR.

It'll be all about Penaldo breaking a record and hurrah isnt football great.

Portugal are very poor defensively. Serbia will top the group and wouldn't be a massive suprise if Luxembourg do something special in tbis group.

It's classic Ireland, though, leading going into injury time and still finding a way to lose.

The current players are third rate and the manager is drowning in depths he can't fathom. I don't blame any of them - this is the fruit of John Delaney's kleptocratic tenure. They did about as well as could have been hoped.
