City taking the PEDS Liverpool were taking a few years back? The intensity is just insane.

Some Madrid players showing their age tonight! Can’t get near them

Man United used to absolutely piss the league some years because they outspent everyone else. This isn’t new
I didn't cheer that on, but its gone up a level with countries buying clubs. Name me another sport where the 6th best team in the country have zero hope of winning their domestic title the next season. City are the epitome of football allowing capitalism to complete eat it. Its laughable city haven't won the champs league until now

Nearly every league in Europe has a club dominating it.

Right now it looks bleak, everyone thought Liverpool would not be kicked off their perch, then came Man United, for a bit it looked like Chelsea were going to totally dominate. But look what happened? City are at their peak right now. It wont be like this forever. Never is.

Leicester did manage to sneak one in after the sheikhs took charge of City, and Arsenal pushed them all year after finishing 24 points back and 5th place last season.

It's not impossible. It's just incredibly difficult.

I’m not cheering anyone on unless the blues are playing but I can appreciate that the football City are playing is outstanding. This isn’t just a collection of top players, it’s special the way that Barca team with Xavi and Iniesta was.

So when a European government helps a team it is fine but when a Middle Eastern one steps in it loses merit?

@emir

This annoys me to be honest. When Real Madrid win 5 CLs in 10 years no one complains, when City look like they’re getting to their second ever final hoping to win their first one there’s a lot of people crying cheating.

The sports uncompetitive when City win title after title but when United and Liverpool were doing it they were dynasties.

It wasn’t City going for a quadruple last season was it? They’ve not been to 3 CL finals in the last five years.

Quite simply Pep is a genius and in De Bruyne and Haaland he has world class players and he can make the rest play in a world class system.

Take Pep away and they might have a period in the wilderness. Just like Barcelona haven’t been to a final in 8 years, just like United crumbled after Ferguson retired, just like Liverpool went over 30 years not winning the league.

No good teams last for ever
