Fans of other teams can cry all they want but as far as I’m concerned all of the European elite teams have enough money to put out a squad of the 22 players they want to. PSG, Madrid, Barcelona, United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Bayern are not struggling because of the amount of money they can spend on transfers. They’re struggling because their managers aren’t as consistent as Pep.

These teams are either backed by state money, or by corporations who have taken state money, or by rich individuals who have made fortunes from dealing with state money.

It’s an absolute embarrassment for rival fans to make out that City have somehow cheated in a way they haven’t all been trying to do for decades. City have just played the game they invented better than they all have.

Was a City fan on talksport saying that there's no competition for them anymore.

That arle arse fan may probably think the same and preferred to watch a game rather than a 1.horse race

They have cheated though. Got banned from the champions league for it...and played the long game in the appeal so they could get away with it.

That's the players getting done not the clubs.

And Real are what they are since moses was a lad. I don't see them as a club but a ride at Alton towers

Akanji been a bit of an underrated signing for them at £15m. Bit slow to get used to it, but looking decent now and covers all positions. They havent missed Ake who has bern brilliant for them thos season

Anyone frothing at city needs to realise they are are cheering on the death of competitive football. Nothing city wins is with any merit

In fairness, PSG, Madrid, United, the RS, and Barca have to a degree been more egregious over the last few years. Last few summers City have brought in a net spend which is either negative. The kopites in particular have spent obscene fees across their team
