How many younger fans who either aren't from Liverpool or don't support Liverpool that will know about an event that happened before they were born that has no relevance to them ? Although given the sensitive world we live in where everybody gets offended at everything perhaps even the ribbing of the points not being enough is indecent to the poor fans
Google is a thing, as is the media mentioning it on the actual anniversary. There’s no excuse for being ignorant over it or making cringey excuses, it was poor taste and karma bit him in a big way

Thats nonsense. A couple of City player took knocks. They were well pumped up for that. United got comfortrable with City being in their faces and competed well. Yes they created a bit more at the end, but only two strikes from Gundogan got City the win.

If City turn up in Istanbul with that game plan they'll be lucky to win.

7/1 Inter.

Well worth a punt.
That's the way football works when the opposition only score one goal.

Valladolid get a free kick last second of the match. Keeper comes up,they pack the box, taker plays it square gets it back plays it across but the final whistle goes.🙄

Feels like that’s quite a poignant weekend of football, end of an era all over the gaff.

Ibrahimovic retires.
Benzema leaves Real Madrid
Messi set to leave European Football
Sergio Ramos to disappear into obscurity.
Joaquin retires
Eden Hazard’s career effectively ended by being released by Real Madrid.
Spaletti finally walks away from football after finally winning the scudetto.
Jonas Hector retires.

Feels like just a really big pile of veterans are moving on completely this season. What a ride they’ve had though.

Sad times, proper end of a era they simply dont make them like alot of them anymore

Rashford and Fernandes world class?

They play for a team that scraped into the Top 4 and that’s exactly their level.
I agree I don’t think they’re world class. But the level of team they play for is not really an indicator IMO.

Also I do think Rashford could become world class if he maintains the level he’s been at this season
