Can we finally say that Moyes has lost the 'Bottled it' tag for winning the Euro cup sorry the eufa cup no I mean the conference cup. Only took about 20 odd years to win a mickey mouse cup but maybe this is the start of bigger things to come for him

I remember when Uefa introduced this competition, so many complaints (hell some still complain about Europa League).

But for both West Ham and Fiorentina fans it seems this meant a lot. Mourinho and Roma last year too, a lot of celebrations.

Dunno how much trash we should be talking considering how long it’s been since we’ve won anything. The big win for us here is that it probably keeps him in the job for another year.

We could and should have won something under Moyes but for his bottleness (is that a word)

First trophy in 43 years and, as winners, they join Brighton and the Kult in the Europa next season making 8 teams representing England next season

Champions League - Man City, Arsenal, Man United, Geordie Arabia

Europa League - RS, Brighton, West Ham (Conference League winners)

Europa Conference League - Aston Villa

Let's not knock the competition it's not quite the ECWC that we won in 85 but it's a 3rd competition that we were missing since the loss of the CWC. West Ham are in a better place than us right now.

Happy for the hammers fans there, and a wee bit happy for the turncoat dour davey.

Thought it quite odd that not many players seemed to go to him and celebrate from what I saw, he seemed to be on his own and a little isolated.

Sad thing is if he hadn’t been such a bottle merchant with us he could have won something, and I think those celebrations with his Everton team would have been something else.
