How have man United sunk so low.

Boo’d off half time first match. They boo Maguire and no one really knows why. Ronaldo on the bench. Just bought a 5ft 9 centre back and are playing a recent heart attack surviving midfield playmaker as striker.

We should form a breakaway league of stupidity with United, Watford and whoever Joey Barton is managing.

Because it suits the show.

A fairly run game is the last thing the people who market the game want. They are selling a product, which, bizarrely to us, is more attractive to global audiences if a few clubs stroll to routine wins week in and week out.

In all the gnashing of teeth over the super league, one point that Real Madrid, Juventus in particular were very vocal about was the unsustainability of the game in it's current competitive format. They want insulating from their mistakes and the easiest ways to do this are to create a financial restraint system to stop clubs from trying to buy their way in and create rules which benefit the richer clubs - see five subs rule.

Feels like, as with us, there’s something deeply rotten at the core of the club that a manager alone cannot fix. Whether it’s player culture, the back room staff, board room interference or similar.

Watch them come out all guns blazing second half and make me look like a divvy after saying that :lol:

Ronaldo and Maguire are two of the big reasons why they've sunk so low.

That front line of Rashford / Greenwood / Martial was working brilliantly, got them to second and with intelligent buys they could have built on that. Instead they spent £100 million plus on wrecking the one part of the side that didn't need fixing.

The whole club seems rotten, top to bottom.

I've never known anything like it. Not even Everton at our lowest has seemed this empty.

It's been eaten away inside to the point where it's just a gigantic empty husk that looks like Manchester United.

I don't even know what they do to fix it.
