The whole club seems rotten, top to bottom.

I've never known anything like it. Not even Everton are our lowest has seemed this empty.

It's been eaten away inside to the point where it's just a gigantic empty husk that looks like Manchester United.

I don't even know what they do to fix it.

Bin the owners off, probably the best place to start.

Potter is my dream signing. Absolutely phenomenal manager. They've lost their two best players so far but don't look any poorer. The best managers have the whole squad singing to their tune and he does. Deserves a top job.

You can't aspire to be a top club with a midfield of Fred & McT. The powder puff pre-season is over & ManYoo fans now reminded a culture shift to passing/technical football under EtH will take time to implement. Question remains will the Yanks have the patience to give him enough time? I am skeptical

A great football side has to have many variables working in concert to build properly. They have a terrific coach with a vision/philosophy but many other moving parts that need to be line to realize the change

Feels like, as with us, there’s something deeply rotten at the core of the club that a manager alone cannot fix. Whether it’s player culture, the back room staff, board room interference or similar.

Watch them come out all guns blazing second half and make me look like a divvy after saying that lol

Endless tolerance is what causes most of it, trying to forgive the odd bad match (which is often serial bad matches) or giving players time to adapt to new regimes etc etc. In their case its made worse by the owners tolerating Woodward for so long as well.

Ten Haag fixes this by doing what Klopp did and what Arteta is doing (and what I hope Lampard is doing with us); ruthlessly discarding all who fail, even if it causes short term losses for the club.

Arteta has surprised me, to be honest, I was really unsure of that window where they brought in White, Ramsdale et al. But he's got the right age group, right personalities and is changing the culture of the playing staff.

Can't imagine he would have had the time or leeway to do that here, mind.
