We deserve it, we are an absolute shambles most of the time as a club.

We are very, very unlucky! Bourenmouth (capacity 11,000 with no bar in the away end) have been very lucky.
They’ll disappear and we will return - and rightfully so

Sorry I don't agree, you make your own luck in life and we are a very, very poorly run club and have been for a long time. Bournemouth are a small club in a smallish town, so not sure what you expect from them really. New owner is already going to build a new training centre and says he will look at ground expansion/new ground.

But go on to Real Madrid, Barca, Holland and Belgium. VAR, last minute goals, penalties and crap dofs-you name it, it’s kicked us in the face

I said smallish not small and compared to most PL clubs locations it is.

The injuries thing I have zero sympathy for, I work in sports science and we have bought too many with poor track records and our general squad fitness leaves a lot to be desired imo. We have just been rubbish in that area in recent years. The managerial merry-go-round wouldn't ever happen if we would just actually make a sensible choice in the first place. Can't do that here as it's too much like common sense and our board don't do common sense. It's the same with the DoF, no point having one if you don't give them full control of things. We won't do that, we have to insert this extra layer so the board has the final say on everything.

Can 6 managers and 2 dof all have such poor track records?
I don’t generally believe in “luck” but ours has been terrible! Injuries, var and pens all smack hard for instance

Sorry but being constantly crap isn't luck. Just the same as being constantly good wouldn't be luck. This is entirely our own (the owner/boards) making. Spending an absolute fortune that should've put us in the top 8 solidly, so very poorly is not bad luck - it's just us being utterly useless.
