Not sure if it was Lampard personally or they were deals we could afford tbh. I doubt they were top of his list. Both were signed after losing Richarlison, our top scorer.
Dele was free, so worth the risk, esp as he wont play enough games for us to hit the £10m and Lampard literally come in as we signed him so think that was already in the works.
Im not knocking Gerrard/Emery or defending Lampard, but its easier to look like a manager has made a difference the better the players they have - at any club.
