Today’s Football - 2024/25 Season

You need something in the middle of the park. City have lost that relentless pressure.

Phillips is an easy no. Stones don't think City would part with him. We won't part with Branthwaite until the summer, is to important for us.
We will struggle to give Phillips away due to him wanting similar wages which no club will pay. He reminds me of a much worse version of Jack Rodwell which is probably unfair to compare tbh. Stones is under contract till summer of 2026 so we'll probably keep him but won't further extend his contract as he'll be 32, but if he can overcome constant niggling injuries we may do.

As for Branthwaite I like him. I was joking about signing him BTW but disagree about you saying you won't sell him because money talks and players walk. I hope he's at Everton for years to come as part of your spine in the team because I like Everton and wish you future success, not too much success, mind😉

The thing is, I do believe that Keane probably would have a scrap with him in the car park, because he is barking mad.
Yes, he has absolutely cornered the market in the wild eyed stare off temper tantrum department. I wonder how much he was similar as a player, and who his favourite whipping boys were on Fergusons behalf. An often funny but usually accidentally parody of his former kick ass self.

I know yeah 😄 but your right money does talk and if anything he is better suited to City then Man utd, especially after their low ball offers.

Success is winning a couple of games atm 😆 never know may take a Mickey mouse cup off yeah once we start to sort ourselves out after the stadium move.

This was embarrassing. 04:10 if you don’t want watch the whole thing

The irony of Goofy Ed turning up and wanting to be all over Sky Sports, whereas the manager is already tired of it all - and it's his first game.

He was notoriously a nasty player on the pitch.

Stones is an elite player or was, but he's forever injured and when he plays he can't get into any sort of form and momentum. No good to us when he's injured.
I can see City going for Branthwaite.

I think the Stones experiment when he played midfield would have been the game plan for Pep once Rodri got injured.

I think Walker is shot to pieces. His form has fell off a cliff, terrible Euros and off the field issues.

No 2nd strikers is criminal for a top side also.
