hah, apart from the fact both teams will be playing weakened teams

Tbh I'd prefer we play a strong team for Swansea & the Europa cup game and a weakened team at Anfield in between. Hate it when they have a good game against us but would prefer we get some silverware this year and the league cup/Europa are good chances for that.

think i tried to put a £1 accum that would have got £50,

man utd to draw, QPR - sland a draw, newcastle - palace draw and WHU -soton draw and villa hull draw.

one of those wasn't in the accum, think it was the newcastle game. for some reason it wouldn't let me make the bet though. if these all come off i'll fume

our seconds team will beat swansea's seconds team. i won't complain one bit if we have a weakened team for that game. all the other big guns have got easy home ties so it wouldn't be an easy cup to win regardless.

RS are our direct rivals for top 4 - last season we had to go there with 13 injuries and then before that moyes played a reserves team. would fume if we rested players for that game - we can definitely win it.

they played their reserve team the year they won it until they got to the business end and they played their seconds team in the second round - just a hunch

to be fair if their form keeps up and utd don't improve they could pip the mancs to 7th.
