I do think bringing players in on mega bucks is not always the answer, great when things are going well but no real desire when required. A few youngsters from the ranks and a bargain buy or two might help.

he fluked the league last season. liverpool lost it really with that game vs chelsea, city should have walked it this season and based on how crud united and arsenal have been for the first 3/4rs of this season, they should have walked 2nd this season. they haven't even come close to winning a trophy this season.

There is no more riding on it now than there was a week ago before they lost to Palace....and now this mauling.

As Egg said......they have no soul, just loadsamoney.

They probably will cling on to fourth place but IMO they will do it in the manner of a punch drunk boxer clinging on to an opponent as he hopes for the final bell.

I just watched the goal (it's 4.30am here in NZ)...and I thought the same thing. What an absolute tit ...classless. I have cut Chelski some slack this season, due to their Liverpool conquering feats the past few match ups. However, they have now expended all that credit and I have reverted to disliking them intensely

I'm assuming they think this is a good result? My missus said pre game she would be happier for City to win as Utd have a harder run in but on the other hand when they take 3 points tomorrow ( they just assume every game is a given ) they are only 4 point behind city. They will never give up the delusion until it's absolutely impossible and even then they will come up with a graph that shows they should have finished 4th

Yeah I just think there's more motivation to make sure they're still playing with the best teams in the world next season than there was to go toe to toe with Chelsea...hope so anyway. 4 points between them and Liverpool isn't comfortable

I am loving it, them all being forced to eat their words regarding fellaini. He's class.
