What an absolutely shoite game football is at the moment. We all knew Palace would never get the rub on Stevie G Day. Corrupt bar stewards.

His crossing is awful and so is his shooting but occasionally he beats his man with ease, sounds like McGeady more than McGeady does.

He's at best a match of the day highlights player.

Haha.

I like him. If he could cross well and score more then he'd be the perfect winger, and wouldn't be at Crystal Palace. Fact is, wingers are inconsistent and most have weaknesses. Eg Lennon doesn't score much and his delivery isn't great, but you've got to look at the wider impact.

I think when asked who he hated defending against most, Coleman said Bolasie (if I recall correctly). You can't ignore the impact of having a player who utterly terrifies and pulls away defenders, even if it's not as easy to quantify that contribution.

Beeb at it again...

"Steven Gerrard played 35 passes in the opening half, completing 86%. He touched the ball 41 times, only Emre Can, Jordan Henderson and Martin Skrtel saw more of the ball in red."

So he was in the top 4/10 outfield players on his team, behind two centre backs, for most touches. Defo worth mentioning that, right?

Morons.
