I guess I'm not the only one who's laughing today.
Not laughing mate, never like to see a player injured, but we could badly do with a win at the moment before a tough set of games.

We have a fairly significant injury list ourselves with Barkley, Piennar, Kone, Oviedo all looking certain to miss the game plus Lukaku and Eto'o also possible. McCarthy doesn't look himself either, rumoured to have foot problems, and gibson is unlikey to be fit enough to replace him for 90mins.

Made up for Norn. Iron and Republic tonight, like to see all the home nations do well, it'd be wonderful if 4 out of the 5 could go through to the Euro's this time round, unlucky for Scotland too!

I know they're injured but I'm honestly sitting here thinking, wow, if they're all fit that's pretty good depth haha I keep forgetting about Barkley and Oviedo and didn't even know you guys had Gibson and just remembered you have Eto'o now. You guys put up a really good show without any of these players against us I have to say. You were effectively playing without Piennar as well since Osman replaced him early on. I just can't help thinking we'd be challenging for the league under Martinez I'm sorry.

But that is the thing isn't it - they never bloody are!

Arsenal have similar problems and atm Utd seem even worse. Good news for you btw that Walcott looks like he will be back for the Spurs game.

That's true yeah.

I'm not sure I'd like to see Walcott haha it's good news he's back from injury of course but, do I want him to start over Sanchez? No chance. British players get open favouritism from Wenger and it has to stop. It's the only reason why Wilshere and Ramsey are nailed-on starters no matter what. This has to stop.

Ramsey is the best youve ever had.

Doubt after spending all that money on him Wenger will bench Sanchez, if I was you I'd be worried he would do what he did with Ozil the last season and play him every game even if he looks tired.

Sanchez looks far better suited to the league than Ozil did but lots of foreign players have struggled with the weather and lack of a winter break in their first season, at least Walcott means that Sanchez can get some rest

not sure ramsey and wilshere should be in the same league of your opinion there tbh.

ramsey has been arguably the best CM in the league over the last year (not showing welsh bias here because i don't really like the lad) but wilshere has gone along his business and done, well nothing.

I hope you are right. But this is the man who repeatedly benched Giroud to start Sanogo upfront, nothing is out of the question.

But here's the thing, I would start Chamberlain ahead of Walcott. This is the problem with having hundreds of attacking midfielders, a lot of them will become bench warmers.

I hope Chamberlain stays fit and does get more games this season - we'd happily take him off your hands if you have too many AMs and can't find him game time ;)

It reminds me of a debate I had with some of the Arsenal folks about Ramsey around Christmas time last year when we were up against Man City and Chelsea in particular. I said we had zero chance of beating them at time and I was right. What did they think would happen when he comes up against Yaya Toure etc. Ramsey is a good finisher but a sorry midfielder. We have never been as poor in the midfield as we have now and every Arsenal fan even Ramsey's die-hard supporters, were prepared to toss him aside for Fabregas. We have zero control of games with Ramsey in the middle, even Everton were running rings around us in midfield. It's just appalling. Good enough for top 4 but zero chance of winning the league and zero chance at even going to a semi-final in the CL.
