That is the be all and end all....but...as a fan of football we like to actually analyse the game as a whole and a team that have been completely dismantled were massively on top for the majority of an away game against supposed title contenders.

True Liverpool fans must say that they need to improve a lot if they are going to make the top 4 never mind win the thing.

I think that was a little glimpse of how utter turd they are and how reliant on Suarez they were. Just like us they seriously need another striker if they have any aspirations if doing anything of note this season. They would have been fortunate with a point let alone 3 today.

Unlike us they sneaked the win. Thought they were a bit fortunate there. Davis should've put Soton 2-1 up and they had a great chance to equalise late on. If Sturridge gets injured (which he usually does) and they don't sign a top striker before the window closes, I can't see them doing quite as well as last season. Maybe 4th or 5th.
