This Sky Sports News, West Ham wankathon . Might message them to ask where ours was when we left Roker Park a ground in its day with a lot more history .... Oh wait we aren't from London
Indeed. I was there at that game (lost 3_0, Big Dunc handled to give away a soft pen, Waddle scored against us again and John Hills came on and fell over), coldest away match ever even though it was late April/early May. Want to beat you on Wednesday but really hope SAFC stay up.

Not that second or third makes much difference but a point vs Toon lets us finish above Woolwich and a win would give us our highest ever Prem finish and best since 1963.

I was there on the day when Spurs title challenge was basically finished. An Alex Young header in the Gwladys Street end. 1-0 to the Blues. Last game of that Championship-winning season was a 4-1 home win against Fulham, Roy Vernon getting a hat-trick. Happy days...

Cheers mate, wasn't at the game as was on a Stag Do down in Wakefield luckily found a bar with it on total scenes when we scored the winner

Roll on Wednesday hopefully we can get over the line ;)

Must have been a nail-biter watching that thriller and all the while relying on Villa to keep Newcastle out.

As has been said on here many times, excluding Villa, we're the best fixture any club in the league in need of points could ask for right now. If your lads put in a shift, you're already likely to win, because ours almost surely won't.

Best of luck.

Would you really exclude Villa?

Have you considered changing your user name from Old Blue to Ancient Blue?

Great picture!

Two reasons why I want Man United to win tonight. Firstly, it could well mean Pep is in the Europa League, and secondly, it would spoil Wham's party.

Having said that, I can guarantee that Wham will win. United won't have the stomach for a fight.
