Have you considered changing your user name from Old Blue to Ancient Blue?

Great picture!

If it's any consolation to you, I remember the day when we lost 10-4 at White Hart Lane! One of the rare occasions when a striker (Jimmy Harris) scored a hat trick and was on the losing side! We won the return fixture that season at Goodison Park 3-1. It's a funny old game, as the greatest goalscorer I have ever seen, Jimmy Greaves, said.

And I was also at Goodison Park on the day I saw the greatest performance of ANY team on that ground. The Spurs double-winning team of the '60-'61 season. We were beaten 3-1 in a canter - we could have been totally demolished that day. In fact, we were, apart from the scoreline. What a team that was...

Would have been great to have seen that team. I wonder if they would let me swap 1992-2005 seasons for 1950-1963?

No choosing when you're born mate just hope you're lucky enough to see 1 successful team, like I was in the mid-eighties. Maybe next year for your lot?

I was at the Lane when we beat Anderlecht in 1984. Amazing night....one Danny Thomas...seen us win a few FA and League cups so it could be worse. Saw us get relegated and promoted - Div 2 was the most fun I have ever had at football. If I could go back in time it would be to that 1977-1978 season.

I am 56 and have come to terms with the fact it is unlikely I will ever see us win the title.

But i will support Spurs til my dying day with absolutely no regrets.

Some of these are making me cry.
