When you think Chelsea basically started the game with a 1 nil lead it makes it an even more abysmal performance.
I couldn't believe what I was seeing first half: Chelsea had slipped their markers and were in the final third of the pitch and then turned back to pass sideways or back again.

Bizarre. It wasn't even clever pressing from Liverpool.

I dont think I've ever seen a more clueless Chelsea team in the past 10 years.

Hazard looked like he wasn't bothered being subbed. They might eventually get Stones but they are losing him and/or various others who will jump ship.

To win two Leagues consecutively is very difficult; the mountain climbed to win one is pretty big and then about 2 months later (ie the off-season), you have to start all over again at the bottom. Mentally, that's a big ask. Having said that, Chelsea, with all their money, have put in a spectacularly poor (re)climbing effort.

Bushead Owen...."they've been spot on in every department". Chelsea haven't even tested their defence. Years ago you'd think they were on the take the way they've turned to water that much. The RS can have their day...seen it all before with Rodgers.

Wow. Oscar received then ball then, with about 3 minutes of normal time to go, right between the middle of the centre backs, and stops and attempts a through ball rather than just taking a touch and running towards goal. Sums Chelsea up at the moment, they'd of scored from such a gift last year.

I find it perplexing that people think Guardiola will leave Bayern for Chelsea any time soon, not at least during this season. It's a big no-no.

He has built an immense side in München which is dominating the Bundesliga, but he's still to impose his side on the CL. That's got to be his aim.

Until that goal is complete I cannot see him leaving. He'd also need a lot of time and money to mould Chelsea into a team that suits his style.

It may be a big challenge, but I think he's savvy enough to understand that it may be a step too far; or at least at the moment.

i) that is a one team league and it is a bit much to say he has built that side, and the Heynckes side won more (and won more plaudits)
ii) Abramovic will give him an absolute fortune
iii) Chelsea's problems are nowhere near as bad as advertised and 80% of them would be solved by getting rid of Mou
iv) he has nothing else to prove to anyone

Haven't got any major injuries to blame it on either, amazing how fast the confidence of a title winning squad can evaporate.
Not sure who the other commentator is on BT Sport, but he's seemingly adamant that José has lost parts of the dressing room.

That may just be supposition on his behalf, or it may dipped in truth. The players really didn't seem overly eager to perform for him today at least.

If so, I wonder who are the 'bad apples' in the dressing room and why, as he's generally perceived to be manager who players like or love.

They're a squad with such talent so their demise is even more confusing. Overall they were just incredibly poor today!
