What is more concerning for Chelsea is not the drop in for but the fact jose can't even get this team to stop losing! he is a multi million pound manager with a title winning team and yet they just can't shut teams out at the minute.

I suppose what's more crazy is that Chelsea may sack a manager who won the league for them a few months ago!

Similar thing happened with us last year I suppose - poor preseason and a few bad results and then confidence starts to erode. Leads to defence sitting back too much and heads dropping when concede and problems behind the scenes. Hard spiral to get out of but amazed it has happened to Chelsea.

Very similar to us LL last season, rudderless, players coming to the end of their career with the club, murmurs of unrest behind the scenes and to top it off absolutely mind numbingly pathetic team performances

Thanks a lot Chelsea. You've just subjected us all to a Liverpool love in from every media outlet in England

We beat Chelsea 3-1, it was all about how bad Chelsea were from the media, you watch how it will all be about how great the redshite were, and how Klopp had his tactics spot on etc, there will be no mention of how poor Chelsea played.

To win two Leagues consecutively is very difficult; the mountain climbed to win one is pretty big and then about 2 months later (ie the off-season), you have to start all over again at the bottom. Mentally, that's a big ask. Having said that, Chelsea, with all their money, have put in a spectacularly poor (re)climbing effort.

There is some truth in that, but it should be pointed out that what Mou has done there is get rid of players who could have helped out this season and the second half of the last - lets not forget that since he returned has got rid of Lukaku, De Bruyne, Mata, Salah, Bertrand and Schurrle, with the likes of Bamford, Kalas and Moses loaned out.

The players he has replaced them with, especially up front, are nowhere near as good.

Key one for me who would have settled them down is Cech. Not saying Begovic is to blame but you can't underestimate the influence a top keeper like Cech would bring to that piss poor defence

Not sure even now what got us out of the mire - Lennon? Clean sheets by Robles and Howard returning from injury on better form? Jags/Stones partnership?

Wonder what will be the thing for Chelsea, presumably firing Jose.
