....brilliant how Rooney has responded to being dropped by England, accepting that he's no longer an automatic choice and vowing to stay fit and ready for when he's needed. Amazing how he has matured as professional and a man since those early interviews at Everton. Good on him.

As long as we don't end up with him in a swap deal with Coleman!

....he's not looking the player he was, Joey. I doubt he was ever on for a return but I also think there's a bit of life in the fella so I wouldn't write him off.
