In Spain and Germany he had a higher calibre of players available to him and both leagues are played at a slower pace. La Liga certainly more so.
Bravo gets closed down far to often for him to be comfortable and his defence look shaky for them to be comfortable, so he'll have to adapt.
While I still believe he will ultimately do well here in the long run, I doubt he's enjoying the steep learning curve that's the Premier League.
I want the best team to win Southampton have had the dignity to attack a poor city defence!Weird that people want Saints to win here.
I thought they didn't want Liverpool winning the league.
Southampton sat back happily for most of that half without pressing much however on a select few occasions they decided it was time to press. Their goal came from one of these moments of pressing.
It's a really interesting way to test City without having to put in the type of effort we did for 95mins. Select the right moments. Really impressive game from Southampton Puel seems like a good coach.
Exactly - wonder why they just don't go and support them......Win by two or three and Southampton could go above us. Surely you should be worrying about that, not Liverpool.
Some people on here are OBSESSED with them.
I'd give City 30m for him tomorrow, proper talent is that lad.
Good point hate them but if they win the Prem I am more concerned wher we finish TBHWin by two or three and Southampton could go above us. Surely you should be worrying about that, not Liverpool.
