It was 1-1 wish we had played that well how southampton did to take into the next game v Burnley oh we got beat there too by our midfield passing sideways , and a sub in Clevelly coming for our best midfielder on was mind boggling when we were on so much on top??????????????????

there was a world of difference in the 1-1 Saints deserevedly got today and the 1-1 draw we obtained courtesy of two penalty misses last week.

If we had played like that last week it would have made a statement to the fans that we feared no one and as you say, would have put the team in a more positive frame of mind going forward.

This is why I am annoyed with people just shrugging their shoulders and saying "we would have settled for this before the start of the season".

Of course we would....but we shouldn't be "settling" for it after the start we made in the first five games

Especially as outside of City, we dropped eight points in three very "favourable" fixtures.

liverpool have had a right result this weekend. nobody else in the top 11 has won, with at least 1 of united and chelsea not winning either.
