Not sure what to make of Spurs. Times when they come to Goodison on put on a commanding half of football and look great but don't win. Then watching them the first half tonight they never should have lost that game. Must be really frustrating for their fans.

Saw a clip of a Malaga game a few weeks back when a 19 year old winger from the youth set up came on and stole the show setting up the wiinner.
Came on today in the 73rd minute and scored an injury time wiinner. 4-3 to Malaga

Javi Ontiveros is the name. Could have a big future. Or could be another Diego Capel.

5th/6th place finishers - decent side, did well in a weak league last season, missing Alderweireld.

We were 3-2 up in a game that was due to last for 96 minutes and conceded an equaliser in the 98th minute.

Ref had a nightmare, and it ended in a draw away from home. End of story on that one really. If only we'd got a draw down there this season eh?

With that Stoke win it's starting to congest into a middle order mini-league beyond Spurs in the table (and you can say beyond United if they win their game later).

We need the win here today to stay just out of reach of those teams from Watford down to Burnley, inclusive.

We need the win here today to stay just out of reach of those teams from Watford down to Burnley, inclusive.

Especially with the run of games we have coming up.

A win today sees a bit of a break-away between the top 7 teams and the rest.

A win today actually keeps us in contention for an unlikely top 4 place. If we can get to January and get some players in then you never know.

Shame I have absolutely no faith in this squad of no marks. Have no doubt we won't win today and then a bang average United will smash us next week.
