Everything about that game last night confirmed for me that Spurs have moved on to the mythical "next level".

They are a serious contender this season and look like being so for many seasons to come.

Spurs were superb last night. We are seventh but still have a lot of ground to make up on the 6 above.
IF the investment comes in this window, summer and the stadium progresses we can close that gap very quickly.

Not bothered about the gap being 5 points now. They should be concerned about Spurs knocking them down to 3rd on current form.

away in Europe when united took an early lead people forget scholes would simply take the sting out the game & play keep ball taking possession in tight areas & keeping everything ticking over.

Ali is a fanatastic player but he is not a player with particularly good technique on the ball who wants to control the tempo of a game. He is far more lampard gerrard or to be fair to someone on here who said Tim Cahill that's a good shout not the best footballer but a top quality player.

Hes got Eriksen, Dembele, Wanyama doing all that for him.
