Say if LC goes out meekly in the round of 16 by say a 4-1 aggreate scoreline does Raneri get fired?

I kept thinking they were still going to finish around 8th but holy hell they are terrible.

How did they win the title last season? Was kante the key?

More to the point, how did we lose to them in the cup?

Actually, i suspect a combo of things such as centre backs not being allowed to emulate WWE stars, Kante going, Drinkwater reverting to type, Rat Boy demonstrating that he really was a one season wonder and poor work in the transfer market by Tinkerman

Well Vardy was the best player in the 1st 1/3, Mahrez in the 2nd 1/3, and Kante in the final 1/3. I still think they can score goals but the D is just shambles. Its not just Kante too, they have no shape and can't even clear a corner.

Also a big time weapon in attack was Schemichel, who indrectly assisted on more than a few goals when he'd pick up the ball and immediately fire it to a streaking winger. I don't think he can do that anymore now that people expect it and the D is a tanker fire.

Gerard I think would do well at LC. You could line him up opposite of Vardy with Salami/Oziaki in the middle. Defenses are keying on Vardy but if you had another fast playmaker on the other side you could probably run another effective counter again.

Kante was huge but they also had 4 or 5 players have the season of their lives together in the same year and were very lucky with injuries. It all fell right for them.

Huth and Morgan got away with a lot of grockage as well - once the FA brought its directive to cut down on it (which itself is a bit of an outrage really, I mean you didn't see them do that when United / City / Chelsea won the league) they have looked far weaker defensively.

They did, but also played better than they ever have before as well even ignoring the grockage.
