Spurs have been great to watch this season but somehow lacking in substance.

They are quite thin in defence. They really miss Walker at right-back. Pep did a good one there.

It’s hardly bottling it when you go up against massive clubs who are higher than you in the league. It’s not like they are losing to mid table teams, they are getting beat by mega clubs who have spent infinitely more money than them over the years.

They are going in the right direction. Big game experience comes with time.

They've finished above arsenal for the past few seasons, yet arsenal have won more cups.

They're going into big cup games here and on Europe and choking. Yet a manager like Jose, a serial winner, can get a hit and miss United side to come back from a goal down to win....in a ground they've been playing on all season.

Mentally I can't see him having the edge to be a winning manager.

In terms of blowing talent they are worse than us mentally, because they have much more talent.

The way they were effected by that equaliser was frightening. Game was over the minute Alexis scored. No reaction. If it was an Everton performance I'd be labelling it gutless so I suppose that is what it was.

Absolutley.

Happened against Chelsea the other year. The minute Hazard came off the bench in a game they were controlling, they went to pot.

United yesterday just weathered the storm and then made Spurs bend to their will in terms of the pace the game would be played at. Once they got Spurs to move the ball about a lot slower they were never in trouble. Apparently there's been a falling out with Llorente so Spurs didn't even have that as a plan B to turn to.

Strange team Spurs.

think trippier should have been in team of the season tbh, think he's a much better right back than walker, davies has been just as good as rose as well. They spent big on sanchez who is still young but he's shown promise. I think the biggest thing for them is alderweireld going a bit AWOL this season. He's the best defender in the league imo so having that rock next to vertonghan who again has been superb coupled with lloris being a bit crud is why. They have so much quality and depth in their squad though, i think poch should be getting a fair bit of criticism, they should be far away from teams like the RS, let's be honest. A combined team sees about 2 or 3 liverpool players in their max and then squad depth they smash them out of the water.
