But different though isn't it? Farah was born in Somalia and lived their with his mum until 8. His mum is somalian. His dad is second generation british.

You went on holiday to France, had sex with a French lass and 8 years later the son from that union turned up at your door not speaking anything but French, then pretty sure most people wouldn't consider him British but French mate.

Your example was both parents being British but living in Australia but returning back when the kids still an infant which is hugely different.

I know FIFA are determined to be apolitical, but surely they should impose a sanction on Iran for stuff like this? Make them play their next two home games behind closed doors as punishment or something?

They'll consider sanctioning Ali for flipping off his mate, but they'll let Iran ban women from watching the national side?

Their priorities have been out of whack since they hosted the world cup in a country in the US, where at best it's their 4/5th sport mate.

Next up Russia where it's at best the second sport, followed by Qatar which nothing more needs to be said about the absurdity and corruption involved in that decision

He sustained the injury during the Gibraltar game. Originally it was thought to be a minor injury, he would even be fit in time to play Greece. As usual his minor injuries turn out to be not so minor...

Yeah if you ask me it started when he became overly muscular. When he played at RSCA he was quite slender, maybe he over-trains himself or something idk.
