Mate he hasn't played well for well over a year. He had like one third of a decent season at Benfica and that's it.

His passing has always been poor and his technical ability is limited. There really have been no signs that he has what it takes to become a top player.

Other teams fans seem to think he's good because of FIFA and Football Manager rather than based on how he plays in real life... it's bizarre. He'd be getting crucified if he was English and played how he did with the level of hype surrounding him.
