Zidane to PSG in the summer is worth a bet I reckon. Might seem harsh on Tuchel who's got them playing great but he was brought in to achieve one thing and has now failed at it. Emery was lucky to get a 2nd season after his side bottled it but I doubt the owners will forgive this.

I think the fact there's so much debate here only proves why VAR isn't going to be a catch all cure for penalty decisions

However, what it will help with massively is things like offside's and whether the ball was out of play or not. These are things which are black or white calls. A penalty sometimes isn't

I said this at the time however when it was announced. People will pounce on every "wrong" penalty decision though as a reason to knock it though

It's still at the mercy of the officials, VAR shows the incidents, humans interpret them.

A poor referee will still be a poor referee and poor decisions still made.

Var is definitely a good thing but it can't change the referees
