I'm blocked anyway but to me Y** is an insult . And being beaten up at WHL in the late 70s by their "fans" didn't help...

I understand why it happens because the common enemy is the RS, but some of the fans of other clubs who come on here really scream “LOOK AT US LOOK AT US! AREN’T WE GREAT”. When it comes to things like the European Cup I don’t want any English club that isn’t us to win it. Similar to the league, so long as it’s not that lot across the park I am honestly not bothered. I support Everton, I don’t want to take any joy vicariously through a club that isn’t my own.

Arsenal played about 50 minutes a man down and Rennes didn’t do a whole lot before that. Still like Arsenal’s chances of going through.

With Chelsea winning so easily and fancied to go all the way and possibly win the Europa League and with even Arsenal still amongst the favourites despite tonight too. Then although Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have successfully reached the last eight of the Champions League, and therefore, it being a cup competition, almost by definition must be in with a chance of winning it...

EUFA have had to make a statement reaffirming the current position that the team finishing fourth in the league could be entered into next seasons Europa league rather than the Champions League if both winners of Europe's main two competitions is an English club who finishes outside of the top four of the premier league.

So with City and Liverpool almost certainly finishing in the top three, this could feasibly happen to any of Manchester Utd, Tottenham, Arsenal or Chelsea.

For Spurs and United, winning the Champions League or finishing third or better in the league may now turn out to be the only way to be absolutely certain of being in next season's competition.

Odds are pretty low of this happening, you’d think

Yes very low but increasingly possible with Chelsea favourites and Arsenal still amongst the favourites for the Europa League and a quarter of the last eight in the Champions League possibly finishing outside of the top four in the premier league

In the unlikely scenario that 5 English teams go into CL (two teams by virtue of winning European Cups whilst not finishing top 4 in PL), then I think I'm right in saying that only two teams go into the Europa i.e there is ceiling on the number of English teams allowed in Europe...and that is set at 7 teams.

What an oaf Sokratis is. No wonder Arsenal turfed that sporting director from Dortmund.

I think Emery is doing reasonably well there, but they still have a handful of terrible players turning out every week (Sokratis, Mustafi and Xhaka in particular).
