Hughes shouldn't have even sent a team out. Just forfeit and lose 3-0 if you plan on sending out 5 defenders 3 defensive mids a winger and a striker. The sooner that man is sent out of the Premier League forever the better.

That's true. I just think the best way to beat these teams is to have a bit of a go. I'm not saying be stupid and open up completely but just sitting back and letting teams like the RS, Chelsea and City batter away at your backline rarely works. Even Cardiff are at least trying to create some stuff against City right now.

Forget about Liverpool today.

Next four games:

Chelsea
Chelsea (again)
Napoli
City

They'll have their season derailed by the end of that lot.

That list was a bit longer a week ago when we al thought Spurs and PSG would get something... Other than Chelsea away from home I don't see where they will drop points. Man City always crumble at Anfield.

They have of course gone and conceded twice right after I said this but the point stands

I see Chelsea doing them twice. Liverpool wont want to tie themselves down in the LC. And Chelsea will be very strong in the PL game a few days later. If Napoli play the way they can they'll beat Liverpool. If City get a draw at Anfield that will slow their momentum.

Liverpool will hit a couple of rough patches and it's all about City and Chelsea keeping pace up until that point. Liverpool know that those two have course and distance experience and know they'll have to get 5/6 points ahead by the new year and then protect it if they're to win the title.
