Maybe it's because they are seen as the benchmark for how to play at the moment, and we could play like that in the future if we wanted. We have some decent, quick wide forwards, just need a quick centre forward who can scroe and we would have a strong front 3. Then make the midfield strong but able to create. we could easily play that quick pressing football if we want. Comes down to future signings and the manager.
 

Hopes for the rest of today's football: City pulverise Cardiff and maintain their superior GD; Liverpool get an injury to one of their key players.

Easy with that benchmark nonsense. If you want to see the true benchmark for football at the moment I'd recommend watching Real Madrid and Barcelona more. The closest thing in the Premier League is City but even that midfield has nothing on the Spanish teams.

Just need Chelsea to win tomorrow now as far as the top is concerned. Liverpool can then look at their fantastic 6 game club PL record winning start to the season and then look immediately above and below them to see the two favourites.

That'll give them some pause for thought.
 
Every week, same story with RS. Always another goal in ET, as well. It should have been 1-1 at best for them. Disgusting.
