Tbf you could have nicked a draw at the end due to Wales' poor finishing. That last corner was a bit unlucky where it could have easily got to an Irish player to prod it home. Sometimes you just have to take the rough with the smooth and at the moment you don't have the players to compete but as ever these things come in cycles and you will get a decent team again. You just have to hope it's measured in years and not decades.
