I understand this concern but if that's Everton needing the decision to be changed to a penalty it can take them 20 minutes for all I care. I think part of this change to VAR and other technology is going to eventually bring about stopping the clock for things like injuries, substitutions and VAR reviews that way we aren't constantly stuck with 7 minutes added on.

I want VAR mate but still no excusing the time it takes them. No reason for it to take so long.

Agree. Would love the clock to stop for all stoppages. The study into how many minutes were lost in the world cup per game was eye opening.

I've always been split on this Mikey, the way I see it is, if the keeper stays on the pitch, and then goes on to save the pen, then has he really been punished, but I can also see the point of the penalty being enough punishment.

In the Benelux it's basically children going from door to door, and they perform and you give them money. If I somewhat remember correctly from my catholic education lessons (wasn't really paying attention most of the time tbf); it's only vaguely mentioned in the gospel of Matthew and in some Psalms. Somewhere along the line they decided that there were supposed to be three, and they had to represent a wide variety (you'll see something similar in a lot of paintings: a middle eastern, white and a black 'king'). Over here they don't alter their skin colour though.

I think in Spain they receive the presents from their parents though; not from their neighbours.
