Just got in after the match to a look back of the match on Sky which I recorded. As we were on first I’d expect them to discuss Everton for a bit. How wrong was I.
Fifty minutes of talk about Spurs vs United. Everton just getting in the way, if Sky could I’m sure they would rather just talk for 2 hours about United and Spurs and of course Liverpool then our match.

Must admit I thought the Spurs United game was very entertaining today

That old cliché was never more true than at Wembley today, the proverbial game of two halves, United impressed in the first half and played with real pace on the counter, catching Spurs short on more than a few occasions with speedy breaks. The goal was top drawer too with Pogba seeing and delivering a perfect long pass to set Rashford clear who finished with aplomb.

The second half Spurs had more than enough of the game spurning gilt edged opportunities when more clinical finishing would have comfortably been enough to overturn the deficit.

De Gea was easily United's second half hero once again and almost single-handedly kept Spurs at bay. Kane and Ali shot too near him which always gave him that chance that perhaps he should never have had.

Not a lot has changed but this result will feel special and mean a lot more to everyone at United, this was a proper team they were up against and, perhaps thanks to de Gea, they came through.

Any final verdict on the current management team can wait as they are just enjoying the ride for now and things couldn't be going much better.

If City don’t win tomorrow night it’s over.

I'm not sure mate, I'd fancy United against Liverpool (see their record at OT) and Spurs to get a result at Anfield (even if it's only a draw-they are very good away from home). If we get our act together who knows, and Wolves could well get something from Anfield. Plenty of games for them to slip up yet. That's before any freak results, or injuries kick in, or fatigue (which already looks a bit the case with their front 3 and the minutes they've played).

PaddyPower already paid out on Solskjær being the manager at the start of next season.

I still think they go after Poch after the season. They still need a CF and maybe they think if Poch comes he'll bring Kane (though Levy is usually smart enough to ship his best players out of the country when they want out).

De Gea v Pitchfork

Compare and contrast

One is calm & controlled and the other plays like he’s on a surfeit of Redbull

Not sure about them needing a CF - Rashford / Martial / Lingaard is one of the best attacking front threes in this league when playing in the way that Solskjaer has them playing, and with Pogba being arsed now they are about as good going forwards as money could make them. Add a centre half and a replacement for Young at RB and theres no reason they couldn't win the league.

Poch would be mental to go there now though; yes after Mou left but Solskjaer has turned them around and unless things go tits up for a couple of months before the end of the season the fans will insist he gets the job full time. He (Poch) would be a lot more likely to go to Real Madrid I'd have thought.

Crap goalkeeping gives Marseille the lead against Monaco.

Potentially relegated this season, pundits all blaming the fact they bought too many young players but completely ignoring the fact it’s the senior players that are letting them down every single game.

Poch has some leverage and could demand a huge transfer kitty b/c MU seems to really want him. I think he's happy at Spurs and even if he has plans to stay there, it might be wise for him to at least pretend to be a bit interested w/ MU job in order to get Spurs to spend more in the offseason.

Rashford/Marital/Lingaard are playing well and they might play well in the near future. However you put Kane in that front 3 and its one of the best in the world. Plus you are poaching the best player off a rival top 4 club.
