PaddyPower already paid out on Solskjær being the manager at the start of next season.

That's because they benefit both ways, they won't have been carrying enough on their books for it not to be worth their while to pull this publicity stunt and the extra coverage in the media will generate more than enough additional business to compensate any losses.

Its like the special odds for new customers, it generates longer term profits for a short term upfront expenditure.

De gea is one of, if not the best keeper in the world, not taking that away from him. But today, the majority of the shots seemed to be right at him or very close to him. Commentators and pundits have done my head in banging on about him. Poor finishing on spurs part.

Lloris should have had that goal after seeing the replays, his positioning was terrible compared De Gea's for a similar chance 2nd half.

Well past it, they need to replace him at end of the season.

They know a lot of them bets will be from United fans who will put it back down on them making top 4 or something, so the bookie will just get it back one way or the other

I'm not sure mate, I'd fancy United against Liverpool (see their record at OT) and Spurs to get a result at Anfield (even if it's only a draw-they are very good away from home). If we get our act together who knows, and Wolves could well get something from Anfield. Plenty of games for them to slip up yet. That's before any freak results, or injuries kick in, or fatigue (which already looks a bit the case with their front 3 and the minutes they've played).

Chelsea like to derail them too.

lets hope we qualify by winning the FA cup.

Definitely, the Europa League is a real poisoned chalice for sides without huge squads with it's never ending matches in far flung outposts on Thursday nights.

The disadvantages far outweigh any pluses for sides who don't have enough depth in the squad without extra qualifying rounds added on too.

Arsenal and Chelsea can easily cope but the likes of Southampton, West Ham and Burnley have suffered and while we have done better than them, the qualifiers followed by the disasterous group phase really damaged us last season.

Poch has some leverage and could demand a huge transfer kitty b/c MU seems to really want him. I think he's happy at Spurs and even if he has plans to stay there, it might be wise for him to at least pretend to be a bit interested w/ MU job in order to get Spurs to spend more in the offseason.

Rashford/Marital/Lingaard are playing well and they might play well in the near future. However you put Kane in that front 3 and its one of the best in the world. Plus you are poaching the best player off a rival top 4 club.
He signed a new contract on the PROMISE of transfers. Levy is an absolute c word when it comes to finances

De Gea is the best in the world atm and yesterday Spurs players couldn't have finished a fish supper if they had a week to do it.
