Thing is with Huddersfield is they are not a rank awful team. They just cant score. That sounds daft with 11 or 12 points, but as far as I can remember, they havnt been battered, they are reasonably organised, but have scored like 10 goals or sommet.

But I'd argue they don't concede much because they aren't even trying to score. It's anti-football

Fulham at least have a go

Astonished at that, what he has done for that club must surely have meant he was unsackable.

If Silva doesn't work out I'd have him here in a heartbeat.

Reading the story it is so bloody refreshing

Huddersfield basically saying they had no intention of ever sacking Wagner and he is a club legend for the work he has done. Decision is on him not them in the end .

Proper boss to hear that and not some superficial we need to stay up so hire pardew nonsense that other clubs do .

Them staying up last year was a magnificent achievement. They don’t have PL quality players pretty much anywhere on the pitch. I guess if Wagner had final say on transfers then this might be justified... otherwise this is really harsh.

I’ve not been closely watching United’s games but have a hunch people are going overboard about Ole and his potential to stay manager long term or win the CL

They’ve done well but have the new manager bounce, easy fixtures and then a win they fluked a bit via Spurs dodgy finishing and De Geas brilliance

Their back line and parts of the squad are still atrocious (though some good attacking talent TBF).

Yeah, not really a sacking here. The club is effectively saying we are awful, this guy has done wonders, and probably could do better elsewhere with better players, and since we're going down anyway, we agreed to let him walk now to find a suitor for next season

Really? In that case it’s less mad, though that chairman must have cast iron guarantees that he isn’t just going to turn up at some Bundesliga side in a couple of weeks

Well even if/when they get relegated, said chairman will bank about £170m, so not sure hes that arsed.
