Or we just understand what a red card offence is and what a frustrated kick out is. It wasn't a dangerous challenge.
You kick an opponent with no intention of getting the ball. That's OK? It wasn't dangerous? Could have caused serious injury. What planet are you from, or on?

The planet in which I clearly understand football better than you do. People get tackled and pulled down every game to stop counter attacks. Should they be reds too? There's no intention to play the ball there.

And no, it wasn't dangerous, hence zero injury whatsoever to the player. It's just a swipe to trip him up.

This is not a red card to me. Maybe it is these days but the game is a lot softer.

Don't think so. You do not know football better than me. You're probably a youngster by comparison.

Played it for decades, reffed it. I know a deliberate dirty tackle when I see it. I know an out-of-control, potential injury causing challenge when I see it.

'...It's just a swipe to trip him up...' Yeah, Konate on Beto was just a hug because he liked him in the derby earlier in the season.

Do everyone a favour, and start talking sense...

Not sure what age has to do with this... if anything, the older you get the worse your brain is. You also say you reffed football - you're telling me you'd have sent a lad off in a match you were in charge of for that tackle? You'd have got chased off the pitch. There's no studs, there's actually not much force in the end just the speed Udogie was going at, it's a petulant trip and should not be a red going forwards.

Similar tackle a few weeks ago in a game I watched, got a straight red 3 game ban, to me it wasn't a red. Just another petulant swipe.
