Bit gutted for Villa, hope they get CL. Great club and great fanbase.

They've had a great season, looks like they'll be finishing forth, and they've got a great coach who plays exciting football to watch.

And on top of that, they haven't had to deal with Richard Masters trying to make them bite the pillow all season.

As far as I'm concerned, they can't have their cake and eat it.

In saying that, watch them now make a fantastic comeback in the return fixture. 🙄

Not yet. They've had a great season, and any club that can stop one of the sly six getting a cl spot are ok by me 👍

Oh dear little dicky, looks like a 'small' club will represent your toilet league next season in europe 😁
Imagine if Villa have to sell players before the next financial deadline if they are over before they get champions league money onto their books

The “we need the super league because English teams will dominate in Europe without it” narrative is well and truly dead.
I thought tonight's game showed the arrogance again of an English side thinking they would sail through the tie into the final
You could see from the first 10 minutes that they completely underestimated Olympiakos and there was only ever going to be one winner.
No sympathy from me quite happy to see every team from this corrupt league getting there arses handed to them

That mudryk is turboplop
There's no denying he's been poor since he arrived. However I'm always loathe to write any player off in their first season at a club. Moreso when they're from a different country. And when you take into account the erratic state of Chelsea it's always going to be difficult.
The main thing for me though is that he's from a war torn country and we've no idea what his loved ones and friends are going through or how that could be affecting him.

No arrogance from Villa at all. Playing their 52nd game of the season (so far) with a squad down to the bare bones. Some oddball defending, weird officiating and a keeper not deemed good enough for Everton cost them that game.

They're more than capable of getting a result in the return leg if Martinez, Torres and Tielemans are back......
