Twice now Walker has acres and hes put in an awful ball.
I don't care who you are or what position you play in, if you're entering the box with a free run on the goalkeeper, unless unless you've got several free men in the middle with a tap in, you've got to smash it at goal.

It's all media driven b***s***. I seem to remember us in a similar situation a few years ago but we didn't have a chance of qualifying for the champions league. OK City beat us 3-1 but we had a good go and their keeper had to make some good saves. Plus the old lady was as loud and hostile as it always is in big games. But it all makes money for TV social media etc.
It was 3-2 mate, I disagree it was hostile, I think it was a strange atmosphere I remember quite a few Everton fans jumping up when Dzeko scored. It's irrelevant whether Spurs fans want Spurs to lose, Spurs players aren't gonna give up on possibility of top 4.

Remember the game well. Barkley's goal was a stunner. Atmosphere was a bit off early in the game tbf but when it got going and we missed a few good chances the crowd got up for it. You can go in wanting to lose but natural instinct kicks in when it comes down to it.

Agree with the media comment. They are milking it big time. Personally if we had nothing to play for and it was the RS going for the title I wouldn't be fussed about losing. If we had a chance at top 4 though then 100% would want the win.

They have been harping on about the RS beating Blackburn at home in 95 and how they turned up despite the United rivalry, but they neglect to mention the time Chelsea rocked up to Anfield and the RS and their fans rolled over to hand them the title over United at a time they give all the top clubs a game at Anfield. They even had a banner in the stands about them losing to not hand it to United but I can never find the picture.
Wasn't that a 1-1 draw?
