Didn't see sections of the home crowd cheering City's goals though that night though, even ironically..We’ve had our own weird one against City a few years ago when Barkley scored the screamer at the Gwladys St.

Well you’d have thought wrong. To “lay” the Palace win on the exchanges is 1.9. So Villa “to get at least a point” is longer than evens.People treating 14th place Crystal Palace like they're Man City now. Pretty sure Villa would have been odds on to get at least a point from that match.
Yeah, because it's no longer a competitive match. If there was anything on it for Villa then their odds to get a point would be shorter.Well you’d have thought wrong. To “lay” the Palace win on the exchanges is 1.9. So Villa “to get at least a point” is longer than evens.
The fans can't win. Lose and we have handed Woolwich the title and conversely, we are small time for not wanting to win even though the CL place is in Villa's hands.
Weird when for 90% of the season everyone bangs on about how 4th place is not a trophy.
losing 3-0 to Fulham had more to do with missing out on CL than last nights game.
...and 14 turkey's voted for it.
Yup, this is a Villa side who have done the double over Arsenal this year, beat them at the emirates a few weeks ago which ironically took the title out of Arsenals hands.People treating 14th place Crystal Palace like they're Man City now. No team has a divine right to be superb every season. ManUre and Chelski didn't deliver over the whole season, so deserve to be where they are. If someone else steps into the void left by those two 'Sky ESL top 6', then great! Long may it continue!I really rate their manager, and fair play to them for managing CL qualification whilst going deep in Europe, but you are right, they have capitalised on terrible seasons for Chelsea and United, so the plaudits seem a stretch. Everything about this tinpot league seems to get hyped up.
Also highlights how terrible a manager a certain Mr Gerrard is as well, shame the rs never went for him post shippmann.
A very good exposition.
